I received my Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine and completed the APA accredited internship at Kaiser in Health Psychology. During my postdoctoral fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, I specialized in CBT for depression and anxiety. I'm licensed in California and New York and am a National Register Health Service Psychologist.
MINDFULNESS: I have had a personal practice for over 20 years and have been incorporating mindfulness into my work since 2007. I offer mindfulness training in a variety of settings. I completed the UCLA Certification in Mindfulness Facilitation at the MARC, UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior and am an Affiliate MAPs instructor. Additionally, I completed the Practicum in Mindfulness Based Stress Management at the University of Pennsylvania and Mindful Schools Educator Essentials and am a Certified Mindfulness Teacher - Professional Level (CMT-P) by the IMTA.
WELLNESS EDUCATION AND COACHING: I have presented classes, workshops, and seminars to students, clients, staff, management and leadership in a variety of organizational settings. I completed a Positive Psychology and Well-Being Coaching Certification and training as a Health and Wellness Coach through College of Executive Coaching and am a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach.
